It was a brisk fall night when I had my first encounter with the Avocado Fairy… Is how I’d start this if I wanted to catch your attention.
Now that I’ve got it, here’s the Deal, I’m Kevin and I’m on a mission, a mission to get YOU to stop ignoring your sub-par health and start transforming it into your most valuable asset. Because, quite frankly, you’re not gonna get to do all the badass stuff you have planned over the next 40, 50…100 YEARS without it.
And we ALL like to DO Stuff!
A few years back, after what I would call the standard (and unpleasantly frighting) transition from college athlete (being On Top of the World) to Real World cubical monkey (basically the movie Office Space), I experienced first hand the effects of moving from an ultra-active lifestyle to a sedentary one.
Is this what people do for the middle 40 years of their lives?
Quickly, I realized I wasn’t “doing enough ME” and “doing WAY too much them” (pause for a sexual giggle here). A fix was in order! On top of all that, It seemed like every year another loved one got sick, like a constant re-make of a bad movie, new characters but the same story-line, and too many ending in the exact same unhappy way.
So I did some research (OK, a lot of research ….)
I implemented Some Changes….
And woke up one morning screaming “Ohh SHIT… This is how we’re supposed to feel!” – I’ll have to ask the neighbors about it one day…
Think of it this way, we’ve got the most advanced vehicle in the game right now. Evolutionary biology hooked us up. So why do we keep driving our TESLA around like it’s a 1964 Plymouth Station Wagon?

There’s something important to note, In Science, every fact has a half-life. There’s always going to be new research and updates to pre-existing claims. Kinda like how they keep updating Kidz Bop (currently on version 39.. Unbelievable!)
So I urge you to use this content for informational purposes rather than set-in-stone facts. It’s simply a resource to get you thinking of all the possibilities when you decide to prioritize your wellbeing. I don’t know about you, but I plan on setting records in my 80’s and 90’s –NOT be in a walker (not sure what records, but RECORDS!)
