Oats n Energy
I’d say I start five of the seven days of the week with a variation of whole grain Old Fashion Oats. The key to it not getting old is the variation of toppings.
A little secret that I like to use is substituting hot water with Green Tea and Ginger. So you get that extra taste and more importantly those essential antioxidants without even noticing it (Ive also experimented with coffee).
Simplicity is Key:
- 3/4 Cups of Whole Grain Old Fashion Oats (Organic)
- Cup of Green Tea N Ginger
- Handful of Walnuts (or Nut of choice)
- Serving of your Favorite protein powder (Plant based recommended)
- Cinnamon (spice of choice)
- Fruit of choice (Usually go with berries or a banana)
Mix the Oat and Green Tea and let sit for two minutes, add you protein powder, nuts, spices and place a serving of your favorite fruit to top it off. Best thing about the breakfast is its totally customizable and is exciting every morning. Oh yeah, your also fueling up your body to have a hell of a day.
