Making prevention, once again, the BEST Strategy. But how do we know if our prevention protocols are actually working? And for that matter, an accurate picture of our current and/or future risk?
Well, this is an area we have some pretty good tools at our disposal. From aerobic fitness tests to cholesterol & metabolic blood panels, and even live scans of our Heart & Arteries. But despite all this, it seems the standard preventive protocol (the Lipid Panel) does not provided the best (aka most accurate) bang for its buck.
In fact, it may actually mislead many into NOT understanding their TRUE Risk. So lets look at some more effective ways to OWN Our Health & Assess Our Risk. Because every good prevention plan needs a way to be measured!
