Added Sugar Breaks Down Your Bones | Mitochondria Dysfunction the Culprit Again
We know that there is a growing list of sub optimal biological effects associated with too much added sugar, or the modern way of eating for the majority of the population.
We also know, almost all of them are rooted in inducing dysfunction within the most primal part of our cellular machinery. The part responsible for synthesizing the molecules we use to power every aspect of life, including me typing and you reading at this very moment, our Mitochondria.
However, despite all the associations, it continues to surprise (me at least) with how very far reaching this “added sugar” dysfunction can go. With new evidence displaying how it impacts the health and vitality of the structural tissue which keeps us together, our bone.
