Humans are in the business of Living
“Times, they are a changing” -some movie or famous person…
One thing that always stays consistent is an animals natural instinct to survive through all this change. Technology is affecting every aspect of our lives, giving us power that no prior generation could even dream of…….”Knowledge”, 24/7, at our fingertips. We’ve been given access to knowledge (usually accurate…#FakeNews) and whether you know it or not we used this data to continually increase our chances of surviving. One area has stood out, Nutrition has became culturally popular over the past 10 years and continues to grow. Rightfully so, it is true when it’s all said and done we’re all in the survival business. When we see new headlines that say this spice can aid in mental awareness or this root could decrease our chances of cancer we say “Hey…why the hell not”. Published on their website, the American Cancer Society has listed that over the course of an average lifetime there is a 38% chance that females will develop cancer and a 42% chance for males. These are some startling number, that’s just under 68 million males and 63 million females who will have to enter the ring with that vicious disease.
This all circles back to points in previous posts, when the likelihood of getting what is basically our 21th century plague almost 1 in 2, we need to position ourselves to be in a position to win. Simple things like walking 45 minutes every day, emphasizing plants in our meals, meditating and laughing can make a huge impact. The crazy thing is, when you implement some of these sustainable changes your body will almost instantly react in a positive way, you’ll lose weight, think sharper, be more alert, sleep better and most importantly decrease your levels of stress (which is a silent killer).
Invest in your health and the ROI will be greater than anything the 2017 Bull market can give you. It’s a momentum game that first step will naturally be a leap but once you see results it will be contagious.
“Hustle is contagious….Who’s gonna make the first play”
Make that first play
