New Findings Same Debate | Early Time Restricted Feeding (eTRF)
When it comes to putting a finger on why eating your meals earlier in the day and doing it in a condensed 8-hour window or less is so beneficial… Researchers have long theorized that it has something to do with circadian rhythm’s.
More specifically, eating in better alignment with the human bodies innate circadian digestive ability to absorb and metabolize food. And as a byproduct, a wide range of metabolic biomarkers, aka markers used to measure biological operations, improve.
The only thing is, there haven’t been many studies really exploring if this were the actual case. Yes, the biomarkers do seem to consistently improve, which is probably the most important part, but the question remains, is it really driven by our enhanced ability for energy digestibility and metabolism… or something else?
Well, this is the very question a research team out of FSU sought to gain clarity on, and the findings only add to the debate…
Here’s what they found…
