What Balancing on ONE FOOT Can Tell You About Your Longevity Odds…
I often refer to Life as a game of “balance and re-balance”. This of-course is a figurative notion implying that there will be dramatic ups, along with dramatic downs, and the key to keeping a healthy “steady state” is having strong habits & principles which bring you back to a “happy medium” relatively quickly.
That being said, as we’ve often found with these “figurative sayings”, this seems to be somewhat true in the literal sense as well. At least according to some NEW hot off the scientific streets research.
Adding ones ability to balance -an assay for neuro-muscular strength and coordination- right up there with muscle mass, bone density and strength as key measurements of ones Longevity odds. In-fact, possibly even being the most telling of ALL.
But as always, the added Longevity… is in the details…
