Why LOW Bone Mineral Density Predicts Brain Longevity
It may be alittle weird to hear that the strength and density of your bone is directly correlated with the strength and longevity of your Brain. Reason being, there couldn’t be two more distant tissue types in the entire body.
I say that sarcastically of course, I’m sure you can find a few, but the differences are profound. One is gauged on how hard and indestructible it can become, while the other is a collection of mushy neurons, sending dynamic jolts of electricity, forming and dismantling new pathways on a daily basis.
Yet, these two tissue types are oddly connected. So much so, that study after study continues to report a positive association between LOW Bone Mineral Density and cognitive impairment.
It’s almost as if these two tissues have similar cellular components that degrade when presented particularly negative stimuli…
It’s almost as if….
