Why Your Appetite May be Out of Control | Circadian Mis-Alignment
We ALL know that in this world, Timing is Everything! But what I bet you didn’t realize, is that THIS was the case long before that saying meme’d its way into existence.
In Fact, this “Timing is Everything” relevance dates back to life as we know it. With early organisms developing and evolving in a way which is tightly aligned with the day/night cycles of the earth. And thus, building their biological function around it.
Ultimately creating an unrealized dependency between biological operations and the alignment of these natural rhythms. That is, until the modern technologically advanced world, unveiled its importance.
These innate biological rhythms are now known as our “Circadian Rhythms”, and modern research is displaying that we slowly become a biological mess when they are tampered with. Something that we’re seeing first hand in this 24/7, “staying up late for leisure and entertainment” world. Especially when it comes to our eating.
Where this inadvertent internal “Phase Shift” can throw-off the very biochemistry which regulates our appetite. A situation many people are likely dealing with, without even realizing it.
